The Friends of the John F. Germany Library in downtown Tampa present their annual Family History Festival, a full day of activities for everyone interested in pursuing their family history. The entire event is free to the public. 
There will be a number of presentations given (tentative topic names):

Tours of the Florida History and Genealogy Library in its beautiful new space on the 4th Floor will be conducted. It is one of the foremost genealogy colletions in the Southeastern US. Representatives from local genealogical, historical, heritage, and lineage societies will have information tables and representatives to answer your questions. A vintage photo both will be operating, and there will be prize drawings held. A light lunch will be provided for free.

The Villages Genealogical Society has scheduled a Caribbean Cruise on February 2nd to 9th, 2019, on the Norwegian Cruise Line's Epic, departing from and returning to Port Canaveral, Florida. It will sail to the ports of Great Stirrup Cay (Bahamas), Falmouth (Jamaica), George Town, Grand Cayman (Cayman Islands), and Cozumel, Mexico.
The speakers include: Blaine Bettinger, Ph. D., J.D.; George G. Morgan; Drew Smith; and C. Ann Staley. Each presenter will give three (3) lectures and will spend lots of time with the cruisers.
