Online Genealogy Training Classes

In October 2007, George began teaching online genealogy classes for Pharos Tutors in London, England. The classes focus on American genealogy and the schedule of courses will be posted at the Pharos Web site at Pharos Tutors. Click on the graphic below to visit the Web site and view all the great classes offered by our world-class instructors.

In February 2007, George began teaching genealogical training classes through the University of South Florida's Continuing Education Division, a division of Educational Outreach.

These exceptional classes are part of the exceptional offering of USF. See the schedule at http://cereg.usf.edu/WebModule/reg/index.jsp?categoryId=10062 for additional details! Also at that site you will see listings for other classes about writing which may prove helpful to penning your family history or personal memoirs. The following is a list of George's upcoming classes for Spring 2008, each of which is four weeks in length.

George has also produced two online classes for the National Institute for Genealogical Studies at the University of Toronto. He teaches two courses in the Certificate Program in Genealogical Studies-Librarianship: "Genealogical Record Types" and "Cooperative Ventures and Referrals".

George's speaking engagements have included the following genealogical events.
(Some but not all library continuing education events are not all included.)
